Next year we will launch the second phase of robotics with our seven -1st grade classes. We will be using a smaller Lego kit (WeDo) and school netbooks, and will integrate it into the Math/Science curriculum during the school day. If you are interested in learning more, stay tuned. I will be adding more information this summer about the program.
We will be looking for mentors and volunteers to help with this program. If you are interested in helping, please contact me. 
We received a $1000 grant from 3M and the Junior League of Austin to get us started. Our goal will be to have 14 kits for each pair of classrooms. If you would like to help us out, donations to the Robotics fund can be dropped of at the office. This kit will run about $120.
